Steward's Report
Mia Master – Late scratching at 10:34am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a laceration on the right hind foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Gusto was quick to begin. Pretty Pippa, Tiny Bit Spoilt and Nitrous.
Nitrous (railed soon after the start and contacted the running rail) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have dew claw injury on the left fore foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Gone For Good underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the Steward's request and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr Grant Masterson regarding the racing manners of Gone For Good approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr Masterson and viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
