Euchre John checked off Barbados Dream on the first turn. Euchre John, Why Not Rose and It's A Louie collided approaching the home turn checking It's A Louie. Euchre John and Why Not Rose collided in the home straight. Scenic Warrior and Riverdale Mitch collided in the home straight.
Riverdale Mitch underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Owner/Kennel Representative Mr. Ian Green regarding the racing manners of Riverdale Mitch approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Green, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
