Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Petula was quick to begin.

Chasing Chops and Fancy Lily were quick to begin. Mt. View Burner was slow to begin.

Purnia Bale, Whiz Out and Blue Gal were quick to begin. Saint Bogan and Tinker Yap were slow to begin.

Saint Ellie checked off Whiz Out soon after the start. Whiz Out and Blue Gal collided on the first turn checking Whiz Out. Blue Gal and Tinker Yap collided in the home straght and again approaching winning post.

Joey Mac was slow to begin. 

New Samsation, Major Bourbski, Got Me Smarty and Low Planes collided soon after the start checking Major Bourbski and Got Me Smarty. New Samsation and Major Bourbski collided approaching the first turn checking New Samsation. Myola Sunrise checked off Mississippi Mud approaching the first turn checking Major Bourbski. Got Me Smarty checked off Major Bourbski on the first turn. Myola Sunrise and Major Bourbski collided entering the home straight.

Why Not Gigi was quick to begin.

Magic Panther checked off Wild Harmony on the first turn. Wild Harmony checked off Magic Panther entering the home straight. Myola Knight and Ice Star collided entering the home straight. Magic Panther and Why Not Gigi collided approaching the winning post causing Why Not Gigi to fall.

Why Not Gigi underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Zipping Pistol checked off Mt. View Ginger soon after the start. Mt. View Ginger checked off Bad Bailey on the first turn checking Aston Shadow. Bad Bailey checked off Zambora Crystal approaching home turn.

Spencer Giblet and Patriotic were slow to begin.

Obsession Agogo and Premier Slice collided in the back straight. Spencer Giblet checked off Premier Slice in the back straight. Spencer Giblet. Frainy's Well and Premier Slice collided entering the home straight. Spencer Giblet and Premier Slice collided approaching the winning post.

Lonely Jenny and Chasing Summer were quick to begin. Reiko Oreo was slow to begin.

Electro Guro checked off Lonely Jenny approaching the first turn. Electro Guru and Myola Pocket collided on the first turn checking Electro Guru. Mt. View Buck checked off Chasing Summer on the first turn. 

Reiko Oreo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Korey Coleman, the Kennel Representative of Reiko Oreo, regarding its performance throughout this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Reiko Oreo must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sound The Bugle was slow to begin.

Blazing Bandit and Miss Button collided soon after the start. Blazin' Jewel and Miss Button collided approaching the first turn checking Blazin' Jewel. Miss Button checked off Blazing Bandit on the first turn. Blazin' Jewel and Miss Button collided entering the home straight checking Miss Button.

Miss Button underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be slow to recover. No stand down period was imposed.

Riverdale Mitch underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Owner/Kennel Representative Mr. Ian Green regarding the racing manners of Riverdale Mitch approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Green, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
