Quillan Bale checked off Hot Diesel approaching the first turn. Romeo Bale checked off Quillan Bale approaching the first turn. Quillan Bale commenced to lose ground from the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Hot Diesel and Inka Bale collided on the first turn.
Quillan Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
