Run Baba Run - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr J. Galea, his comments were noted.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' in order to review the positioning of the lure in the event, with reference to GAR 55 (1).  After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the event and therefore the 'All-Clear' was declared.  

Alumni, Aston Grenache, Galloping Albi, On Time Cash and Cherokee Cat collided soon after the start checking Alumni, Aston Grenache, Galloping Albi and On Time Cash. It's A Drama crossed in on the first turn checking Cherokee Cat and Alumni. Galloping Albi and On Time Cash collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds and causing Aston Grenache to race wide.

She's A Keeper and Remember Prince were slow to begin. 

Harlequin Rose and Delancy Bale collided soon after the start checking Delancy Bale. She's A Keeper and Remember Prince raced wide on the first turn. Punk Lass Rocks and Alpine Blaze collided on the second turn checking Punk Lass Rocks. Long Black Lass and Punk Lass Rocks collided on the third turn. Smooth Talker underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Zumi's Swagger and Cool Stone were quick to begin. Jebrynah Octave was slow to begin.

Cool Stone, Aston Dimple, Aston Rocket and Cairnlea Winnie collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Went For Swim raced wide on the first turn. Fernando Dusty checked off Zumi's Swagger approaching the home turn. Cool Stone, Aston Dimple and Aston Rocket collided on the home turn checking Cool Stone and Aston Rocket.

Supplementary Report

Following an inquiry, Trainer Mrs Constance McMillan was issued a charge pursuant to GAR86(q) in that she engaged in conduct detrimental to the image of greyhound racing. The particulars of the charge being that during kennelling today, Mrs McMillan used inappropriate language during a verbal altercation with another licensed participant. Ms McMillan pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $100.
