Steward's Report
Dr. Henry was very slow to begin (3 lengths) and Immortal Knocka, Elle Jack and Our Miss Ruby were slow to begin. Elle Jack and After collided approaching the first turn. Itso Special and After collided on the first turn checking After. Immortal Knocka, Elle Jack, After and Our Miss Ruby collided on the first turn checking Immortal Knocka, Our Miss Ruby and After. After and Our Miss Ruby collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Henry and After collided on the home turn. Itso Special and Hyper Time collided entering the home straight. Itso Special eased in the home straight. Dr. Henry, After and Our Miss Ruby raced wide in the home straight.
Itso Special was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left triceps and grazes to it's left triceps and left metatarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Itso Special with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
