Noah Rose went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  All One Size and Santa's Special collided soon after the start.  Premier Woofie and Cosmic Rush collided approaching the first turn.  Santa's Special checked off Premier Woofie approaching the first turn.  All One Size and Premier Woofie collided on the first turn.  Santa's Special raced wide on the first turn.  All One Size and Premier Woofie collided approaching the second turn.  All One Size checked off Jersey Jack on the second turn checking Noah Rose, Cosmic Rush and Pepper Fozz.  Chappy and Jersey Jack collided on the third turn.  Pepper Fozz checked off Cosmic Rush in the home straight.

Stewards spoke Mr. N. Zammit, regarding the direction that the greyhound Jersey Jack be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2), Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ralphy Cinel.

Dasha Mikado, Veneno and Arktika were slow to begin.  Veneno and Arktika collided soon after the start checking Veneno.  Shall She Rock, Dasha Mikado and Hazerati collided approaching the first turn checking Hazerati, Dasha Mikado, Arktika and Veneno.  Dundee Toro and Kulu Special collided on the first turn.  Shall She Rock and Kulu Special collided entering the front straight checking Shall She Rock.  Dasha Mikado checked off Hazerati approaching the second turn.  Shall She Rock and Kulu Special collided on the second turn.  Kulu Special and Veneno collided entering the back straight.  Dundee Toro and Ralphy Cinel collided on the fourth turn.  Dundee Toro, Shall She Rock and Ralphy Cinel collided on the home turn.

Kulu Special was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left pectoral muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cambridge Prince, Magenta Moon and Beks were slow to begin.  Flash Fizz and Zipping Rory collided approaching the first turn checking Flash Fizz.  Magenta Moon and Beks collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Rory checked off Can Can Hurrican approaching the second turn.  Kim Keeping and Flash Fizz collided entering the front straight and again on the third turn checking Flash Fizz.  Cambridge Prince checked off Can Can Hurrican approaching the fourth turn checking Zipping Rory.  Beks checked off Cambridge Prince approaching the fifth turn.  Beks and Magenta Moon collided approaching the home turn.  Cambridge Prince and Beks collided entering the home straight checking Cambridge Prince.

Flash Fizz was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left shoulder and right wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lady Toy and Lunar Tom were slow to begin.  Lunar Tom and Stealthy Dancer collided soon after the start.  Blurred LInes, Mumma Hook and Hold On Wincup collided approaching the first turn.  Dynamic Punch, Mumma Hook, Hold On Wincup and Stealthy Dancer collided on the first turn checking Mumma Hook and Lady Toy.  Lady Toy and Hold On Wincup collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Oscura.

Highbury and Brent Bale were slow to begin.  Premier Event, Smoking Rosie and Crawf's Bread collided approaching the first turn.  Oscura, Frank Furter, Mystic Twist, Highbury, Smoking Rosie and Crawf's Bread collided on the first turn checking Mystic Twist, Highbury, Smoking Rosie, Crawf's Bread and Brent Bale.  Smoking Rosie and Crawf's Bread collided approaching the second turn.  Mystic Twist and Brent Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Mystic Twist.  Smoking Rosie galloped on the heels of Crawf's Bread approaching the home turn.  Oscura and Frank Furter collided on the home turn.  Smoking Rosie checked off Crawf's Bread in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Dak.

Nockabout Aussie was slow to begin.  Zipping Brock and Ibrox Digger collided soon after the start.  Soho Rhythm, Phenomenal and Owen Bale collided soon after the start checking Phenomenal which collided with Ibrox Digger as a result.  Phenomenal and Owen Bale collided on the first turn.  Ibrox Digger checked off Soho Rhythm approaching the second turn and collided with Owen Bale.  Nockabout Aussie and Babylon Club collided on the second turn.  Babylon Club and Soho Rhythm collided on the third turn checking Babylon Club, Soho Rhythm and Phenomenal.

Phenomenal was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left shoulder, left hamstring and right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Thompson, the trainer of the greyhound Phenomenal regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn and the third turn. 

Owen Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's right thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Searle Bale.

Ozzy Bale and Unix Bale were slow to begin.  Searle Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Cosmic Wise, Billy Higgs, Kayo Marciarno, Bambina, Ozzy Bale and Unix Bale.  Ozzy Bale, Unix Bale and Bambina collided entering the front straight checking Ozzy Bale and severely checking Unix Bale and Bambina; Bambina stumbled as a result.

Unix Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Bambina was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left hip.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Armagh, Cornelius Fudge and Musquin Bale were slow to begin.  Speed Series and Surf Mail collided approaching the first turn checking Surf Mail.  Mepunga Armagh and Dyna Kayla collided approaching the second turn checking Dyna Kayla.  Speed Series and Surf Mail collided on the second turn.  Speed Series, Surf Mail and Musquin Bale collided entering the back straight checking Speed Series and Surf Mail.

Survivor Sal and Mimicking collided on the first turn.  Heaps Of Ability, Born Ali and Hurricane Isaac collided on the first turn checking Heaps Of Ability and Zipping Joe and severely checking Born Ali.  Zipping Joe raced wide on the second turn.  Heaps Of Ability raced wide entering the front straight.  Zipping Joe raced wide on the third turn.  Mimicking checked off Sir Gazza on the home turn checking Survivor Sal.

Mimicking was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

My Boy Snoop and Battistuzzi were slow to begin.  Hello Good Bye checked off Duchess Bale on the first turn.  My Boy Snoop checked off Hello Good Bye on the second turn.  Rumbling Rick and Hurricane Rino collided on the third turn.  Hello Good Bye and Lektra Bianca collided on the home turn causing Jordan Allen to race wide.  Hello Good Bye checked off Hurricane Rino entering the home straight checking Lektra Bianca.

Grand Faith, Clay Bird, Saahd and Go Jetta Go were slow to begin.  Dynamo's Gift, Grand Faith, Blue McCool, Clay Bid and all Sky Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Grand Faith and All Sky Girl.  Cette Away and Blue McCool collided approaching the first turn.  Dynamo's Gift and Clay Bird collided approaching the second turn.  Dynamo's Gift severely checked off Saahd approaching the second turn severely checking Clay Bird.  Saahd and Go Jetta Go collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Evy.

Proven Looper was slow to begin.  Dyna Evy, Strange Wish and Great Spartacus collided soon after the start.  Big Zap and Billy Rocket collided soon after the start.  Dyna Evy and Spring Charlotte collided approaching the first turn.  Big Zap and Proven Looper collided on the first turn checking Big Zap.  Spring Charlotte, Dyna Evy and Proven Looper collided on the first turn severely checking Spring Charlotte and Proven Looper; Dyna Evy fell as a result.  Spring Charlotte and Proven Looper collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.

Dyna Evy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
