Big Beaver underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Starlight Amy was quick to begin.  Wedding Or Baby went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Zing On and Crymelon Comet collided soon after the start.  Zing On and Starlight Amy collided on the first turn.  Wedding Or Baby visably eased and collided with Rockabye Bear approaching the home turn; checking Rockabye Bear and Crackerjack Cap.  Wedding Or Baby visably eased in the home straight and collided with Crackerjack Cap.

Wedding Or Baby underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury; a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Ms Martina Kirillidis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Wedding Or Baby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Kirillidis pleaded guilty to the charge, Wedding Or Baby was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Scorcher, Action Girl and Run Machine collided approaching the first turn.  Run Machine and Spring Hondo collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Scorcher and Beatrix Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Blazing Nenna and Oliver Bale collided on the first turn, checking Blazing Nenna.  Watch The Clock checked off Zipping Scorcher on the first turn.  Blazing Nenna, Zipping Scorcher and Beatrix Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Beatrix Bale.  Action Girl, Run Machine and Spring Hondo collided approaching the home turn; severely checking Action Girl.

Action Girl underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

The start time for this event was rescheduled to 6:17 pm in accordance with Sky Racing & the TAB - originally scheduled for 6:16 pm.

My Buddy Benny underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg hock fractures.  My Buddy Benny was humanely euthanised.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
