Steward's Report
The start time for this event was rescheduled to 7:13 pm in accordance with Sky Racing & the TAB - originally scheduled for 7:15 pm.
Devil's Disguise was quick to begin.
Maximum Zeal and Illegal Way collided approaching the first turn. My Buddy Benny and Junior Marjen collided on the first turn, checking My Buddy Benny. My Buddy Benny faltered approaching the home turn and pulled up. Junior Marjen and Hill Top Jonnie collided approaching the home turn.
My Buddy Benny underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg hock fractures. My Buddy Benny was humanely euthanised.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
