Aston Lights was quick to begin. Big Alfie was slow to begin.  Dynamic Prince and Gold Skulltula collided soon after the start. Jazz Opera, Elarbee Mercury and Trending Quarter collided soon after the start checking Elarbee Mercury and Trending Quarter.  Happy Ruby and Night To Burn collided approaching the first turn.  Rufus Scrimgeour, Happy Ruby, Night To Burn and Jazz Opera collided on the first turn checking Jazz Opera, Elarbee Mercury and Digitorum.  Jazz Opera and Elarbee Mercury collided on the second turn.  Rufus Scrimgeour checked off Night To Burn on the second turn.  Trending Quarter galloped on the heels of Lala Ivory approaching the home turn checking Trending Quarter, Lala Ivory and Digitorum.  Trending Quarter and Digitorum collided entering the home straight.  Night To Burn marred Happy Ruby approaching the winning post.

Night To Burn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr W. Gray regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Night To Burn was charged with marring. Mr Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Night To Burn was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

It's My Party and Suntory Rose were quick to begin.  My Father's Son and Casus Belli were slow to begin.  My Father's Son and Casus Belli collided on the first turn.  Suntory Rose checked off It's My Party approaching the third turn.  War Drum Express and Suntory Rose collided on the third turn.  Casus Belli and Suntory Rose collided in the back straight checking Casus Belli.  My Father's Son and It's My Party collided approaching the fifth turn checking It's My Party.  War Drum Express marred My Father's Son approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  War Drum Express and Suntory Rose collided approaching the winning post.

War Drum Express was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr R. Camilleri regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.   Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) War Drum Express was charged with marring. Mr Camilleri pleaded not guilty to the charge, War Drum Express was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Untapped on 25 October pursuant to GAR 79A.

Fractured, Shivers and Party Lights collided soon after the start.  Untapped and Auspicious Queen collided soon after the start.  Untapped, Mepunga Felix, Fractured and Shivers collided on the first turn checking Untapped, Mepunga Felix, Fractured, Shivers and Valeska Bale.  Fractured and Shivers collided on the second turn.

Lakeview Walter began awkwardly.  Tyler Durden, Hebridean Black and Nikoli Bale collided soon after the start.  Barooga Smoke and Xavien Bale collided soon after the start.  Barooga Smoke, Xavien Bale and Black Avenger collided in the front straight.  Barooga Smoke, Xavien Bale and Black Avenger collided on the first turn checking Xavien Bale, Black Avenger, Tyler Durden, Hebridean Black and Nikoli Bale.

Xavien Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Mirror Illusion on 27 October. An out of competition sample was taken from Knicks Bale and Bounce Back on 28 October, pursuant to GAR 79A.

Gypsy Wyong was quick to begin.  Mirror Illusion, Gypsy Urana, Mepunga Warrior, Bounce Back and Bobby The Brute collided soon after the start checking Gypsy Urana, Mepunga Warrior, Bounce Back and Bobby The Brute.  Gypsy Urana contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Mr. Speaker checked off Mirror Illusion on the first turn checking Bobby The Brute.  Gypsy Urana and Mepunga Warrior collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Mepunga Warrior checked off Bounce Back on the third turn.

Mr. Speaker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr J. Formosa regarding the greyhound's racing mannersapproaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence fromMr Formosa, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued. 

Mirror Illusion was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right hamstrings, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood and urine sample was taken from Knicks Bale, the winner of the event.  Post-race urine samples were taken from Mepunga Warrior (2nd) and Gypsy Wyong (3rd). 

Osprey Rose was quick to begin.  Wedding Or Baby, Americano Miss, Sir Champ, Indy Ghost and Ultimate Avenger collided soon after the start checking Americano Miss, Sir Champ, Indy Ghost and Ultimate Avenger.  Americano Miss contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Zivon Bale checked off Wedding Or Baby on the first turn checking Ultimate Avenger.  Americano Miss and Sir Champ collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Sir Champ checked off Indy Ghost on the third turn.

Americano Miss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Midoriyama was slow to begin.  Zeeba's Legacy and Kanji Height collided soon after the start checking Kanji Height.  Eleora Bale checked off Midoriyama approaching the first turn.  Eleora Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Zeeba's Legacy checked off Fabriola Ximenez on the home turn.  Ben Mayo raced wide throughout the event.
