An out of competition sample was taken from Cinderella Storm on 13.08.21 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.
Midnight Pompeii, Gecko Fernando and Reiko Haze collided soon after the start. Gecko Fernando checked off Reiko Haze approaching the first turn, Gecko Fernando lost ground as a result. Midnight Pompeii and Reiko Haze collided approaching the first turn checking Midnight Pompeii. Midnight Pompeii checked off Gecko Fernando on the first turn. Cinderella Storm checked off Reiko Bingle in the home straight. Cinderella Storm raced ungenerously approaching the winning post.
Cinderella Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Miss Cassendra Jayakody regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Miss Jayakody, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Midnight Pompeii, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
