A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Leomie.
Black Strat – Late scratching at 1:52pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness (Diarrhoea). A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Lektra Nat was slow to begin.
Terka Wye and Big Buck collided soon after the start. Terka Wye and Big Buck collided on the first turn checking Lektra Nat. Bourne Maximum and Rollin' In collided approaching the home turn checking Rollin' In and Big Buck; causing Rollin' In to lose ground from that point. Lektra Nat checked off Big Buck in the home straight.
Rollin' In underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
