All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

Big Cadillac checked off Island Chief soon after the start.  Winter Wizard galloped on Lektra Hybrid approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Inga Luna and Big Cadillac collided approaching the home turn.  Winter Wizard raced wide on the home turn.  Inga Luna checked off Big Cadillac entering the home straight and collided with Why Arandt.  

Crymelon Quick and Honest Thief were slow to begin.

Downtown Strike, Deadly Elegance, Crymelon Quick and Little Herbie collided on the first turn checking Deadly Elegance and Little Herbie, severely checking Crymelon Quick and Honest Thief.

Little Herbie underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to right side of the lip.  No day stand down period was imposed.

Crymelon Quick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right front dew claw and spike wounds to both hocks.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Honest Thief underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both bicep muscles and the right chest muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Al's Big Sister checked off Myola Frost soon after the start.  Eighties Devils checked off Myola Frost approaching the first turn.  Aeroplane Cougar, Al's Big Sister and Darley Lass collided in the home straight.  Eighties Devils and Cosmetic Rose collided repeatedly in the home straight.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Stephen Tabb regarding the racing manners of Eighties Devils in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Tabb, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Giaan's Girl.

Devil's Spirit and Jafar Bale collided on the first turn checking Devil's Spirit, Coolum Beach and Giaan's Girl; Stars Aligned fell as a result.  Coolum Beach faltered and lost ground in the home straight.

Stars Aligned underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind hock and a spike wound near the front right dew claw.  No stand down period was imposed.

Coolum Beach underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hock and injuries to the left triangle, left hip and right thigh muscles.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Destroy We Said was slow to begin.

White Cadillac checked off Yussuf Bale approaching the first turn.  Tiger Blurton checked off Lektra Violet on the first turn.  Destroy We Said galloped on Gothika on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rocky Strike and Raw Attitude collided on the home turn.   Yussuf Bale and Gothika collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  

Black Spring was slow to begin.

Irwin Bale, Our Brinni and Divine Dixie collided on the first turn.  Irwin Bale, Our Brinni and Divine Dixie collided approaching the home turn checking Divine Dixie.  Black Spring and Our Brinni collided on the home turn.

Aston Logan was slow to begin.

Star To Burn galloped on Dodgy Digger approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Lavish Pearl, Queue The Music, Dodgy Digger and Star To Burn collided on the first turn checking Dodgy Digger and Star To Burn.  Pull Shot checked off Diva Dot approaching the home turn.  Diva Dot checked off Pontiac Bandit in the home straight and collided with Queue The Music.

Double Up was slow to begin.

Belfast Dot checked off Spring Roll approaching the first turn.  Winlock Dyno, Spring Roll and Toby Where's Dad collided on the first turn checking Spring Roll.  Spring Roll and Double Up collided approaching the home turn.  Belfast Dot checked off Spring Roll on the home turn and raced wide as a result.

Sovereign Strike – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Grand Warrior was slow to begin.

Cawbourne Move, Sovereign Strike and Ernie All Sorts collided soon after the start checking Sovereign Strike.  Naha checked off Cawbourne Move on the first turn.  Wishly Bale and Cawbourne Move collided on the home turn.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Leomie.

Black Strat – Late scratching at 1:52pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness (Diarrhoea).  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lektra Nat was slow to begin.

Terka Wye and Big Buck collided soon after the start.  Terka Wye and Big Buck collided on the first turn checking Lektra Nat.  Bourne Maximum and Rollin' In collided approaching the home turn checking Rollin' In and Big Buck; causing Rollin' In to lose ground from that point.  Lektra Nat checked off Big Buck in the home straight.  

Rollin' In underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.   A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jayla Bale underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Jayla Bale and Darley Park collided approaching the first turn checking Jayla Bale.  Good Mate Rusty, Keybow Sally, Cryptic Signal and Joffa's Shadow collided on the first turn checking Keybow Sally and Cryptic Signal.  Darley Park and Like A Slug raced wide approaching the home turn.  Good Mate Rusty, Joffa's Shadow and Tinker Calie collided approaching the home turn checking Good Mate Rusty and Joffa's Shadow.

Scarlatto – Late scratching at 10:12am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Peter Dunlevey was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cadillac Prince.

Cristalle Blue checked off Loco Luca on the first turn also checking Canya Hurricane, Born A Guru, Hazy's Girl and Wilshire Girl.  Hazy's Girl checked off Wilshire Girl on the first turn.
