Steward's Report
No Jewels was slow to begin. Wilmont Street and Wow Anna collided soon after the start checking Wilmont Street. Lot Lizard and Midnight Fussed collided approaching the first turn checking Lot Lizard. Burning Betty and Dashing Daph collided on the first turn. Lot Lizard and No Jewels collided approaching the home turn. Midnight Fussed and Wow Anna collided several times on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Burning Betty raced wide in the home straight.
Zanzibar Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
Stewards spoke to Ms M.Sullivan regarding the racing manners of Zanzibar Icon in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Sullivan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the in the home straight.
