Steward's Report
Hill Top – Late scratching at 1:54pm due to the greyhound not being presented (GAR 31). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation trainer, Mr G.Connell was fined $250.
Chuck Attack and Star Gazers collided approaching the first turn checking Chuck Attack. Star Gazers, Fast And Flying and Rising Rage collided approaching the first turn. Star Gazers and Rising Rage collided on the first turn checking Star Gazers.
Chuck Attack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Chuck Attack was found to have a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. John Mangion regarding the racing manners of Chuck Attack in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Mangion, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
