All Staff & Participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the Kennel Block and Associated Buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds. 

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 27.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.7 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Deputy Sam was slow to begin. Enzo's Girl and King Cabang collided approaching the first turn. Crumb Snags and Bluesette Queen collided approaching the first turn. Enzo's Girl, Chillout Cookie, Crumb Snags and Bluesette Queen collided on the first turn checking Enzo's Girl. Crumb Snags eased approaching the home turn and collided with Bluesette Queen. Harden and Enzo's Girl collided entering the home straight. Crumb Snags and King Cabang collided entering the home straight. Deputy Sam eased in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Enzo's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the front left toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr T.Vantaarling regarding the racing manners of Enzo's Girl in the event. After hearing evidence from Mr Vantaarling, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the event.

Kennel representative, Mr Jack Campbell of Crumb Snags declined to have the greyhound vetted.

Deputy Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left back and right thigh muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. Alfred Debattista the trainer of Deputy Sam, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Deputy Sam was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Debattista pleaded guilty to the charge, Deputy Sam was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Crumb Snags - winner of the event.

Hill Top – Late scratching at 1:54pm due to the greyhound not being presented (GAR 31). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation trainer, Mr G.Connell was fined $250.

Chuck Attack and Star Gazers collided approaching the first turn checking Chuck Attack. Star Gazers, Fast And Flying and Rising Rage collided approaching the first turn. Star Gazers and Rising Rage collided on the first turn checking Star Gazers.

Chuck Attack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Chuck Attack was found to have a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. John Mangion regarding the racing manners of Chuck Attack in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Mangion, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr. Scott Levett was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Mr. Scott Levett failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Dollhouse Agogo for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

So Very Nice was slow to begin. Killer Miss, Queen Lisa and Oriental Topaz collided approaching the first turn. Oriental Topaz checked off Tory Boyce on the first turn. So Very Nice and Tory Boyce collided approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Dollhouse Agogo - winner of the event.

No Jewels was slow to begin. Wilmont Street and Wow Anna collided soon after the start checking Wilmont Street. Lot Lizard and Midnight Fussed collided approaching the first turn checking Lot Lizard. Burning Betty and Dashing Daph collided on the first turn. Lot Lizard and No Jewels collided approaching the home turn. Midnight Fussed and Wow Anna collided several times on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Burning Betty raced wide in the home straight.

Zanzibar Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found. 

Stewards spoke to Ms M.Sullivan regarding the racing manners of Zanzibar Icon in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Sullivan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Craig Davis regarding the racing manners of Wow Anna in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Davis, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A sample was taken from Pretty Fly upon arrival at the course.

Kid Caldwell and Safe Drop collided approaching the first turn severely checking Kid Caldwell.Shim Girl, Pretty Fly and Lady Caviar collided on the first turn.

Kid Caldwell underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Jarvis regarding the racing manners of Kid Caldwell entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Jarvis, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Chase The Magic - winner of the event.

Lektra Desire and Less Ordinary collided soon after the start severely checking Less Ordinary. Speedy Lemon galloped on the heels of Lektra Desire approaching the first turn. Lektra Desire and Good Mate Rusty collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

This Time Bro and Brian Harold collided soon after the start. Teaks Streak and Firing Fernando collided approaching the first turn. This Time Bro faltered approaching the first time and lost ground. 

This Time Bro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Crown Knox was slow to begin. Lachie's Legacy and Elegant Malt collided approaching the first turn. Too Far Bro and Jimmy Cheesecake collided on the first turn. Crown Knox, Toolleen Town and Chill Out Webby collided on the first turn checking Chill Out Webby and Lachie's Legacy.

Elegant Malt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

A post-race sample was taken from Jetta's Shout - winner of the event.

A sample was taken from All Inn Dungee upon arrival at the course.

Gallant Toby underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

All Inn Dungee, Perfect Glory, Fletcher Jay, Kaique and Vin Joel collided soon after the start checking Fletcher Jay, Kaique and Vin Joel. All Inn Dungee checked off Perfect Glory approaching the first turn. Gallant Toby and Meatball Soup collided on the first turn causing Meatball Soup to fall. All Inn Duggee and Fletcher Jay raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Meatball Soup underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left groin muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Pieter Smoor requested an early race endorsement for Gallant Toby.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Gallant Toby  will compete in early races until further notice.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zoe's Intention.

Sir Julian and Free Advice collided approaching the first turn. Zoe's Intention and Atlas Bombshell collided on the first turn. Free Advice and Zoe's Intention collided approaching the home turn. Sir Julian and Zoe's Intention collided several times on the home turn.

Another Avatar and Scott Wrecked collided soon after the start. Aston Cinnamon, Aston Shadow, Scar Queen and Harston Flare collided approaching the first turn. Aston Shadow, Scar Queen and Harston Flare collided on the first turn checking Another Avatar and severely checking Aston Shadow, Scar Queen and Harston Flare.

Jump The Bar, Decker, Gotta Jump Start, Western Bay and Kamari collided approaching the first turn checking Western Bay and Kamari. Garage Sale and Starchie collided on the first turn checking Garage Sale. Jump The Bar and Decker raced wide in the home straight.
