Steward's Report
Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Red Potion with trainer Mr R. Proctor and noted his comments.
A pre-race sample was taken from Kalyeeda.
Decker, Jiggly Wiggly, Little Mug and Kalyeeda were quick to begin.
Decker and Jiggly Wiggly collided approaching the first turn checking Decker. Little Mug faltered on the first turn and lost ground causing Little Mug and Red Potion to collide. Jiggly Wiggly faltered approaching the home turn and collided with Dust Up; Jiggly Wiggly fell as a result causing Red Potion to hurdle Jiggly Wiggly; Red Potion fell as a result severely checking Dust Up.
Little Mug underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right monkey muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Jiggly Wiggly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured elbow on the right foreleg. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Red Potion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle and an abrasion to the left metacarpal region. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
