A pre-race sample was taken from Bucked Head.
Love A Collision was slow to begin.
Bucked Head and Yazid Bale collided soon after the start. Hurricane Miami and Love A Collision collided approaching the first turn. Bomber's Smokey, Hurricane Miami and Criminal Crocket collided approaching the first turn severely checking Criminal Crocket which subsequently tailed off; Bucked Head was checked as a result. Bomber's Smokey and Hurricane Miami collided on the first turn. Hurricane Miami and Love A Collision collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Criminal Crocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle and left triangle injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
