Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Arcanine, Flying Shaun and Little Nellie were slow to begin.

Light On Tackle and Juliette Keats collided approaching the first turn.  Little Nellie and Light On Tackle collided on the first turn checking Little Nellie, Hurricane Star and Arcanine.  Juliette Keats checked off Odd Gem approaching the home turn.

Love A Collision was slow to begin.

Bucked Head and Yazid Bale collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Miami and Love A Collision collided approaching the first turn. Bomber's Smokey, Hurricane Miami and Criminal Crocket collided approaching the first turn severely checking Criminal Crocket which subsequently tailed off; Bucked Head was checked as a result.  Bomber's Smokey and Hurricane Miami collided on the first turn.  Hurricane Miami and Love A Collision collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Criminal Crocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle and left triangle injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lil Roughy was quick to begin.  Shrek's Rose was slow to begin.

Honey Double One, Kuta Cowboy and Shrek's Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Honey Double One and Kuta Cowboy.  Aaron’s Me Boy and Mighty Fabio collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Honey Double One and Aaron's Me Boy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Aaron's Me Boy.  Angel Eyes and Shallow collided entering the home straight checking Shallow.  Kuta Cowboy and Aaron's Me Boy collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Shallow and Lil Roughy collided approaching the winning post. 

Samples were taken from Cooped Up and Jakey's Day upon arrival at the course.

Super Shenron and Jakey's Day collided soon after the start.  Sweet Chanelle and Bella Porscha collided approaching the first turn severely checking Sweet Chanelle.  Big Prediction and Sweet Chanelle collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Cooped Up checked off Super Shenron on the first turn.  Cooped Up and Jakey's Day raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.  

Jane Way was slow to begin.

Full Of Talk, Campanita and Texas Metal collided soon after the start checking Texas Metal.  Captain Cruiser crossed in approaching the first turn checking American Spy and Full Of Talk.  Campanita and Jane Way collided on the first turn.  American Spy checked off Full Of talk on the first turn.

Texas Metal underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have an abrasion to the inside left nostril.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Gazza and Jebrynah Octave were slow to begin.

Black Mintie and Why Not Gazza collided approaching the first turn.  Why Not Gazza, Crystal Kiss and Jebrynah Octave collided on the first turn checking Crystal Kiss and Jebrynah Octave.  Crystal Kiss galloped on Jebrynah Octave on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Aston Rum checked off What Price Bucks in the home straight.  Aston Rum and Why Not Gazza collided in the home straight.  Black Mintie, Aston Rum and Why Not Gazza raced wide in the home straight.

Victa Libby and Consider It Done were slow to begin.

Inter Helen and Done Time collided soon after the start.  Inter Helen, Done Time and Midnight Marzy collided on the first turn checking Midnight Marzy and Done Time.  Victa Libby checked off Inter Helen on the first turn.  Done Time and Midnight Marzy collided on the first turn.  Done Time and Victa Libby collided on the home turn checking Victa Libby.  Victa Libby raced wide in the home straight.

Mad Eye Madam and Chill Out Dusty collided approaching the first turn.  Crouching Tiger checked off Mad Eye Madam approaching the home turn.  Maximum Jemma raced wide on the home turn.  Baby Pechey and Why Not Rose raced wide in the home straight. 

Levi's Me Boy - Late scratching at 5.04pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Weeona Polly checked off Megasonic on the first turn.  Fallen Petal and Big Coin Buddy collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Big Coin Buddy.

Who's Spolly and Zipping Kay collided soon after the start checking Zipping Kay.  Mess crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Who's Spolly, Spark Joy and Bomber's Queen.  Who's Spolly, Spark Joy, Bomber's Queen, Boolavogue and Busy Izzy collided on the first turn checking Boolavogue, Busy Izzy and severely checking Spark Joy and Bomber's Queen.  Zipping Kay brushed the running rail on the home turn.  Spark Joy checked off Zipping Kay entering the home straight.  

Busy Izzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
