A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Kay.
Who's Spolly and Zipping Kay collided soon after the start checking Zipping Kay. Mess crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Who's Spolly, Spark Joy and Bomber's Queen. Who's Spolly, Spark Joy, Bomber's Queen, Boolavogue and Busy Izzy collided on the first turn checking Boolavogue, Busy Izzy and severely checking Spark Joy and Bomber's Queen. Zipping Kay brushed the running rail on the home turn. Spark Joy checked off Zipping Kay entering the home straight.
Busy Izzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
