Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rush Riccarton – Late scratching at 12.26pm when trainer Mr.A. Helleren reported the greyhound to be on season (GAR 23). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Amazing Angel and Jordanville Jet were slow to begin.  Zing On, Little Kit and Zero collided soon after the start checking Little Kit.  Tommy's Blazer was checked off Ironclad approaching the first turn. Zing On And Zero collided on the first turn checking Zero.  Tommy's Blazer crossed out on the home turn checking Zing On.  Amazing Angel lost ground in the home straight.  Jordanville Jet lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Amazing Angel underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle and left chest muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Jordanville Jet underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist and right triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Throw Caution was quick to begin.  Suzie Rose was slow to begin.  Smoking Syd, Riccarton Weaver and Aston Dotty collided soon after the start checking Aston Dotty.  Riccarton Weaver and Hurricane Keely collided approaching the first turn severely checking Riccarton Weaver which fell checking Hurricane Keely and Curnow's Blues.  Curnow's Blues contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Hurricane Keely and Suzie Rose raced wide entering the home straight.

Riccarton Weaver underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Curnow's Blues underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left stifle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Portelli Punk was quick to begin.  Cosmic Roy was slow to begin.  Supercross was checked off Portelli Punk soon after the start.  Suprercross faltered approaching the first turn, lost considerable ground and subsequently tailed off.  Bean's Multi galloped on Take A Sunflower on the first turn checking Bean's Multi, Take A Sunflower and Dominus.  Cosmic Roy was checked off Take A Sunflower entering the home straight.  Bean's. Multi and Dominus raced wide in the home straight.

Supercross underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left calf muscle and right back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Ha Ha Magoo was slow to begin.  Amazing Roy and Why Not Luv collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.

Samp De Keats was slow to begin.  Zambora Clown was checked off Flying Unicorn on the first turn. Usain Spolly and Block Star collided on the first turn checking Block Star.

This event was rescheduled to 8.49pm due to a power outage on track.  All subsequent events were put back one.

Loz's Bling was slow to begin.  General Collinda and William Rose collided approaching the first turn. General Collinda, William Rose and Javi collided on the first turn checking General Collinda, Javi and Weeona Pete. General Collinda and Javi collided approaching the home turn checking Javi. Javi, Mandalorian and Weeona Pete collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds, causing Mandalorian to race wide.

Ripplebrook Glen and Invictus Murray were slow to begin.  Ripplebrook Glen, Mad McEnroe and Cee Me Snoop collided approaching the first turn.  Cee Me Snoop and Rock Me Xanthe collided on the first turn.  Invictus Murray was checked off Classified on the first turn, Invictus Murray lost ground severely checking Ripplebrook Glen, Mad McEnroe and Rock Me Xanthe, checking Cee Me Snoop. Scorching Ember and David Coin collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mad McEnroe was checked off Ripplebrook Glen on the home turn. Scorching Ember and Rock Me Xanthe raced wide entering the home straight.

Pride Into Power was quick to begin.  Pay The Bill and Aston Hackett collided soon after the start. Jenny Kay Rose and Zipping Whoopi collided approaching the first turn checking Jenny Kay Rose. Zumi's Swagger, Nella Ruslie and Zipping Whoopi collided on the first turn checking Zipping Whoopi. Nella Ruslie and Pay The Bill collided on the first turn severely checking Nella Ruslie, checking Pay The Bill, Zumi's Swagger and Jenny Kay Rose. Pesky Miss and Aston Hackett collided approaching the home turn.  Pesky Miss was checked off Aston Hackett on the home turn.
