Elope To Paris checked off Dancing Rose approaching the first turn. Springvale Misty checked off Elope To Paris approachng the first turn severely checking Springvale Misty which lost ground as a result. Graphic Print checked off Blackpool Marvel on the first turn. Graphic Print checked off Calabrese Gino approaching the home turn. Cullquin Elijah and Dancing Rose collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Elope To Paris and Manitoba collided several times in the home straight checking Elope To Paris. Cullquin Elijah and Elope To Paris collided approaching the winning post.
Cullquin Elijah underwent a post-race veterinary examination at trainer's request and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
