The start of this event was delayed by 7 minutes due to What Price Mason being vetted at the boxes. What Price Mason was a late scratching at 5.57pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an injured right wrist. A 5 day standown period was imposed.
Josie's Entity was slow to begin. Onya Jakit and Josie's Entity collided on the home turn.
Evolution underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
