A pre-race sample was taken from Sizzle Fly.
Sizzle Fly was quick to begin. Ryben Jack crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Red and Brave Traveller. Sizzle Fly and Soda Diamond collided on the first turn checking Soda Diamond. Ryben Jack and Demolition collided on the first turn checking Demolition. Hurricane Red crossed out approaching the home turn and raced wide. What Price Bucks cramped and fell approaching the winning post.
What Price Bucks underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) What Price Bucks must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Ryben Jack underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
