He's A Geezer and Cayden Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. He'a A Geezer galloped on Calabrese Gino on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Go Wheels and Blackpool Grace collided on the first turn checking Blackpool Grace.

Go Wheels underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Last Outlaw was slow to begin.

The starter commenced boxing for this event early, due to confusion with the light from the judge's tower. Ikora Bale was initally placed in Box 1 before being withdrawn from the boxes when the start was aborted. The boxing process then recommenced.
