All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds. 

Forever Words and Josie Wags were quick to begin.  Skipping Bail and Giovanni were slow to begin.

Aston Atlas and Texan Galore collided soon after the start, checking Texan Galore.  Masalki and Zipping Brax collided approaching the first turn.  Forever Words and Josie Wags collided on the first turn; checking Josie Wags and Giovanni.  Zipping Brax and Aston Atlas collided on the first turn.  Forever Words eased approaching the home turn. Texan Galore and Skipping Bail collided entering the home straight checking Texan Galore.

Forever Words underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Ms H Baxter regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Forever Words was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Baxter pleaded guilty to the charge, Forever Words was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lara Diamond and Fab Motto collided soon after the start, checking Lara Diamond.  My Golden Eagle checked off Fab Motto approaching the first turn.  Fab Motto and Abby's Comet collided on the first turn, checking Fab Motto.  Banjo Bert and Change Of Gear collided approaching the home turn; causing Change Of Gear to race wide.  Change Of Gear and Abby's Comet collided in the home straight.

Rockstar Ohlmus and Scandalise were quick to begin.  Lips Boloney was slow to begin.

Not Arandt, Dalisha Bale and Hey Vain Elaine collided soon after the start, checking Not Arandt.  Rockstar Ohlmus, Scandalise and Aston Gates collided on the first turn; checking Scandalise and Dalisha Bale.  Longstaff checked off Scandalise approaching the home turn.  Lips Boloney raced wide on the home turn.  Scandalise and Rockstar Ohlmus collided entering the home straight.  Dalisha Bale turned its head inwards approaching the winning post, and collided with  Aston Gates.

Dalisha Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative , Mr S Coulson regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Dalisha Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Dalisha Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Work Zone and Brazen Crow collided soon after the start.  Spring Value, Solar Tiny and Eaglehawk Miss collided soon after the start.  Belt Up Dusty, Spring Value, Solar Tiny and Miss Zeus collided on the first turn; checking Midnight Bling, Eaglehawk Miss and Work Zone; severely checking Spring Value and Solar Tiny.

Bulleteer, Oamaru Bale and Sonny Daze were slow to begin.

Indian Shadow – Late scratching at 10:03 am when trainer, Mr W Kee reported the greyhound to have gastroenteritis (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stretch Butler was quick to begin.

Barooga Smoke and Stretch Butler collided approaching the first turn.  My Faith, Eureka Icon, Aston Samurai and Elanda Bale collided approaching the first turn; checking Eureka Icon and Elanda Bale.  Barooga Smoke and Ivy Wren collided on the first turn.

Oriental Jade – Late scratching at 3:05 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Scraping Paint was slow to begin.

Impress Shades and Zipping Valerie collided soon after the start.  Aston Pirate and Rilynn Bale collided soon after the start.  Abby's Illusion raced wide approaching the home turn.  Impress Shades and Zipping Valerie collided on the home turn.

Keiki and Helen's Memory were quick to begin.

Keiki checked off Helen's Memory approaching the first turn.  Zipping Rambo checked off Keiki on the first turn, raced wide and collided with Abby's Star; checking Horizon Princess and Winlock Mungo; severely checking Zipping Rambo.  Keiki checked off Max's Idol in the home straight.

Zipping Rambo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hind foot spike wound injury.  No day stand down period was imposed.

Barefoot Barry and Aston Valkyrie were slow to begin.

Charley Davidson and Cruisy's Special collided approaching the first turn.  Tanami Express checked off Max Dynamo on the first turn; checking Cruisy's Special and Aston Valkyrie.  Tanami Express and Cruisy's Special collided in the home straight, checking Tanami Express.

Rakesh – New declared weight of 32.7 kg, last raced at 31.5 kg.

Modern Shadow and Nitro Georgie were quick to begin.

Jabba Bolt was quick to begin.  Mercury Icon and Top Faith were slow to begin.

Silver Compass underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Halwes was quick to begin.  Smokey Renn and Brute were slow to begin.

Ethan's Fury and Crackerjack Nev collided soon after the start.  Silver Compass and Rezzie's Shout collided on the first turn; checking Crackerjack Nev, Rezzie's Shout and Ethan's Fury; severely checking Smokey Renn.

Smokey Renn underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
