An out of competition sample was taken from Gold Driller on Friday, 5 March 2021.
Eye Catcher – Late scratching at 12:39 pm when Ms J Hopkins reported the greyhound to have a hip injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Banjo Bert, Kraken Tex, Benchester and Mepunga Daniel collided on the first turn; checking Kraken Tex and Mepunga Daniel. Speed Star checked off Braemar Prince approaching the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Braemar Prince - the winner of the event.
