Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kensington Miss.
The start of this event was declared a false start due to the lids failing to open. The start was aborted and all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and inspected by the veterinary surgeon in accordance with GAR 56(6). All greyhounds were deemed fit to start and the start time of this event was amended to 5:29pm.
Envy To Burn and On The Air were slow to begin. Zulu Duchess and Kensington Miss collided soon after the start checking Zulu Duchess. Amelie Otis and Myola Sunrise collided approaching the first turn. Envy To Burn and On The Air collided approaching the first turn checking On The Air. Myola Sunrise clipped the heels of Amelie Otis on the home turn checking Myola Sunrise.
Free Gift underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Free Gift - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 52(1), pursuant to GAR 72.
