The start of this event was declared a false start due to the lids failing to open. The start was aborted and all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and inspected by the veterinary surgeon in accordance with GAR 56(6). All greyhounds were deemed fit to start and the start time of this event was amended to 5:29pm.

After hearing evidence from Mr Lenehan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
