My Girl Kizzy was slow to begin.
Lucy's Milo, Last Hurrah and Aston Silk collided approaching the first turn checking Last Hurrah, My Girl Kizzy and Jim Zarr Dashian. Wendalin Bale, Junk Food Junkie and Golden Night collided on the first turn. Aston Silk and Wendalin Bale collided on the first turn checking Wendalin Bale. Last Hurrah checked off Jim Zarr Dashian approaching the second turn. My Girl Kizzy checked off Last Hurrah on the second turn. Last Hurrah checked off Golden Night entering the back straight. Last Hurrah and My Girl Kizzy collided in the back straight.
Last Hurrah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hind leg and left hind foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
