Steward's Report
I'm Easy Boys, Houdini Boy and Here's Tears were quick to begin. Cawborne Footrot was slow to begin.
Houdini Boy and Here's Tears collided soon after the start. Lee Ali, Houdini Boy and Pilbara collided on the first turn checking Pilbara. Cawborne Footrot and Pilbara collided on the first turn checking Pilbara. Cawborne Footrot and Here's Tears collided approaching the third turn. Pilbara checked off He Shall Power approaching the fourth turn.
Here's Tears was disappointing and underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr P. Riley regarding the greyhound performing below market expectations. Mr Riley stated that the greyhound received some interference early in the race tonight and he believes that the greyhound performs best with an uncontested lead. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Riley to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Here's Tears in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Post-race samples were taken from placegetters - Houdini Boy (1st) and He Shall Power (2nd).

Here's Tears - Trainer Mr R. Britton reported that he checked the greyhound this morning and could not detect any abnormalities.
