Banjo's Ghost – New declared weight of 30.9kgs, last raced at 29.7kgs.
Smart Zero was slow to begin. Banjo's Ghost went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Tech Stock, Yuken Win and Prince Ferno collided soon after the start. Tech Stock crossed out approaching the first turn checking Yuken Win, Prince Ferno and Sam I'm Mikado. Braemar Big Yin and Justin Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Braemar Big Yin and Smart Zero. Yukin Win and Sam I'm Mikado collided entering the home straight. Yukin Win crossed out in the home straight checking Sam I'm Mikado.
Banjo's Ghost – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound today and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
Banjo's Ghost underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right front foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Tech Stock - winner of the event.
