Prior to the start of this event the lure driver had to reposition the lure after having inadvertently positioned it at the incorrect starting point.
Dyna Winter was quick to begin. Almapa Berisha and Natural Cruiser were slow to begin.
Fernando's Boy checked off Vitaliser approaching the first turn. Holly's Affair and Almapa Berisha collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Holly's Affair. Vitaliser and Natural Cruiser collided on the first turn, checking Natural Cruiser.
