Steward's Report
Crickets Dash was quick to begin. Crickets Dash, Hot Pies, Neo Bale, Inter Santina and Rose Rose collided on the first turn checking Crickets Dash and Rose Rose and severely checking Neo Bale and Inter Santina. Neo Bale and Inter Santina collided on the home turn checking Neo Bale which lost ground as a result.
Neo Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. Neo Bale was found to have an injured left wrist and an abrasion to the left foreleg and right hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson the representative for Neo Bale regarding the greyhound's performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Neo Bale must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
