Pacific Title was slow to begin.  Rock Me Elijah crossed out soon after the start and checked off Rock Me Gorgeous, Pacific Title was checked as a result.  Podium and Major Pursuit collided on the first turn.  Rock Me Elijah raced wide in the home straight.

Pacific Title underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Representative Mr. D. Crawford declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Crawford the representative for Pacific Title regarding the greyhound's performance in this event.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Pacific Title must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Revelation underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left pencil muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Seraphina underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.  Representative Mr. W. McMahon declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon the representative for Dr. Seraphina regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Dr. Seraphina was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. McMahon pleaded guilty to the charge, Dr. Seraphina is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. S. Spoljaric regarding the number of starts Monster Machine has had between 21/06/19 and 09/07/19 (18 days - 5 starts) .  Mr. Spoljaric stated that the greyhound was only excercised on a walking machine between races, was seen regularly by a vet and was racing consistently.
