Shrek's Typhoon and Ann Cherie were slow to begin.
House Of Luck, Terrigal Tornado and Pacific Beach collided approaching the first turn checking Terrigal Tornado. Ann Cherie and Pacific Beach collided approaching the home turn and again approaching the winning post. She's Our Poppy and Berry Bound raced wide in the home straight.
Terrigal Tornado underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr D. Basile regarding the performance of Terrigal Tornado on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Terrigal Tornado must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
She's Our Poppy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock dislocation. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. Based on the OTVs recommendation, GRV Stewards require a Follow-Up Vet Consultation Next Day.
