Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Tayla's Banjo and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.54am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Hetherton was fined the sum of $100.
Flashing Oaks was quick to begin.
She's Got Dash checked off Destini Exactor approaching the first turn. Master Mordecai, Thumb A Ride, Dodge Coupe and She's Got dash collided on the first turn checking Master Mordecai, Thumb A Ride and She's Got Dash. Master Mordecai and Thumb A Ride collided approaching the home turn checking thumb A Ride. Dodge Coupe and Destini Exactor collided on the home turn checking Destini Exactor. Master Mordecai and Thumb A Ride collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Flashing Oaks - winner of the event.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Harvey Warbanger trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 33.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Harvey Warbanger was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - (Cramp) Newsprint trialled over the 400mtrs from box 4, weight 26.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1/4 length. Newsprint was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Stylish Missile trialled over the 400mtrs from box 6, weight 30.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound won by a margin of 1/4 length. Stylish Missile was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Splish Splash trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 37.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3/4 length. Splish Splash was Cleared.

Stewards spoke with Mr.S.Kaltsis, a registered trainer and Mr.C.Barnes, an official with Warragul Greyhound Racing Club regarding an incident following race 12. Stewards heard evidence from both parties. After hearing the evidence, Stewards charged Mr.Kaltsis with a breach of GAR 86(q) in that he did engage in conduct which in any way is detrimental or prejudicial to the interest, image, control and promotion of greyhound racing, in that his behaviour and offensive language towards an official was inappropriate.
Mr.Kaltsis pleaded guilty to the charge.
Stewards found Mr.Kaltsis guilty as charged and issued a fine of $200.00, with $100.00 suspended for 12 months pending no further breach of GAR 86(q).
In relation to penalty Stewards considered Mr.Kaltsis' guilty plea, previous history, and cooperation with Stewards.
