Stewards spoke to Mr J. La Rosa , the representative of Nebi regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Nebi last raced on 19 October 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell. Mr La Rosa also declared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Nebi last raced at 31.1kgs.

Ninetymile Hawk was slow to begin.
Arctic Iggy, Weeona Paul and Nebi collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Weeona Paul checked off Arctic Iggy approaching the home turn.
