Mrs Y. Andrews was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Muza's Magic pursuant to GAR 33.

Gracie Sway was quick to begin.  Kip Your Star and Ma Deuce were slow to begin.

Gracie Sway eased soon after the start. Gracie Sway shifted wide approaching the first turn checking She'll Be White and Muza's Magic.  Stealthy Flight, Kip Your Star and On Degoey collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Gracie Sway checked off She'll Be White on the first turn.  Muza's Magic galloped on Gracie Sway approaching the home turn severely checking Muza's Magic, Gracie Sway and Ma Deuce, Ma Deuce raced wide as a result.  

Stewards spoke to Mr A. Andrews, the representative of the greyhound Gracie Sway regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Gracie Sway was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Gracie Sway with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Andrews pleaded guilty to the charge, Gracie Sway was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dissembler was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left medial tibia, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Abstract Miss, Tanjil Ace and Zipping Dozer were slow to begin.

Tanjil Ace checked off Soda Maxi on the first turn.  Inter Joe checked off Split Pea on the first turn checking Soda Maxi.  Inter Joe checked off Split Pea entering the home straight, Inter Joe raced wide as result.  Zipping Dozer checked off Soda Maxi entering the home straight checking Abstract Miss.  Inter Joe and Tanjil Ace collided in the home straight and raced wide.

Woodleigh Guy and Aston Olivia were slow to begin.

Aston Olivia faltered on the first turn and lost ground.  Galloping Bluboy checked off Hashtag Spolly on the first turn.  Bekim Instinct checked off Voluptuous Ruby on the home turn.  Voluptuous Ruby and Hashtag Spolly collided entering the home straight checking Voluptuous Spolly and Oz Wizard.  Oz Wizard and Voluptuous Ruby collided in the home straight.  Bekim Instinct and Hashtag Spolly collided in the home straight.  

Aston Olivia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Crossfire Icon - winner of the event.  

Stewards noted that after the event the numbers were semaphored correctly with the race time defaulting to 1:07:317, the official race time was 26:47.

Looking Down was a late scratching at 9.27am due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined She's Our Poppy and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 12.22pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr I. Anderson was fined the sum of $100.

Kubla De Kahn and Titanium Boy were slow to begin.

La Rosa , the representative of Nebi regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Nebi last raced on 19 October 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell. Mr La Rosa also declared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Nebi last raced at 31.1kgs.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Harvey Warbanger trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 33.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Harvey Warbanger was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - (Cramp) Newsprint trialled over the 400mtrs from box 4, weight 26.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1/4 length. Newsprint was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stylish Missile trialled over the 400mtrs from box 6, weight 30.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound won by a margin of 1/4 length. Stylish Missile was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Splish Splash trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 37.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3/4 length.  Splish Splash was Cleared.

Stewards spoke with Mr.S.Kaltsis, a registered trainer and Mr.C.Barnes, an official with Warragul Greyhound Racing Club regarding an incident following race 12.  Stewards heard evidence from both parties.  After hearing the evidence, Stewards charged Mr.Kaltsis with a breach of GAR 86(q) in that he did engage in conduct which in any way is detrimental or prejudicial to the interest, image, control and promotion of greyhound racing, in that his behaviour and offensive language towards an official was inappropriate. 

Mr.Kaltsis pleaded guilty to the charge. 

Stewards found Mr.Kaltsis guilty as charged and issued a fine of $200.00, with $100.00 suspended for 12 months pending no further breach of GAR 86(q).

In relation to penalty Stewards considered Mr.Kaltsis' guilty plea, previous history, and cooperation with Stewards.
