Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Andrews, the representative of Dissembler regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dissembler last raced on 5 October 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dissembler.
Silver Sky and Qatar Girl were slow to begin.
Misty's Boy, Crash Reality and Dissembler collided soon after the start checking Misty's Boy. Backin' Bully, Johnny Black and Crash Reality collided approaching the first turn. Qatar Girl checked off Crash Reality on the first turn. Nunniong Miss and Dissembler collided on the first turn. Backin' Bully and Dissembler collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Backin' Bully and Dissembler collided entering the home straight severely checking Dissembler which fell checking Backin' Bully. Backin' Bully and Misty's Boy collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Dissembler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left medial tibia, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
