Valley Reaper crossed in soon after the start and collided with Mac Daddy and Mega Hazel. Scrumble checked off Valley Reaper soon after the start. Mac Daddy and Mega Hazel collided soon after the start checking Mega Hazel. Zharnel checked off Valley Reaper approaching the first turn. Courage Crest and Valley Reaper collided on the first turn. Scrumble checked off Cosmic Breeze on the home turn severely checking Mac Daddy which raced wide as a result.
