Steward's Report
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Bonich for transporting greyhounds in a trailer not in compliance with the requirements of a heat affected meeting and cautioned that punitive sanctions will be forthcoming for any future breaches pursuant to GAR 86 (ag).
I'll Swap Ya was a late scratching at 6.40pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to mild dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
The outside temperature at race start time was 30.3 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 20.3 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mighty Josiah.
Macs Road was quick to begin. Sopha Gem and Janray Tigerlily collided soon after the start checking Janray Tigerlily. Invictus Ester and Mighty Josiah collided on the first turn checking Invictus Ester.
