Steward's Report
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Bonich for transporting greyhounds in a trailer not in compliance with the requirements of a heat affected meeting and cautioned that punitive sanctions will be forthcoming for any future breaches pursuant to GAR 86 (ag).
The outside temperature at race start time was 31.5 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 21.5 degrees.
Hot Dot Two and Santana were slow to begin. Yuken Sunshine and Northern Rocket collided approaching the first turn. Jye Licious and Yuken Sunshine collided approaching the first turn. Tanya's Way crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Miss Spolly. Yuken Sunshine and Santana collided on the first turn checking Santana. Jye Licious and Hot Dot Two collided approaching the home turn checking Jye Licious.
