Steward's Report
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. James for transporting greyhounds in a trailer not in compliance with the requirements of a heat affected meeting and cautioned that punitive sanctions will be forthcoming for any future breaches pursuant to GAR 86 (ag).
The outside temperature at race start time was 30.4 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 19.8 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gitcha Loaded.
Gitcha Loaded and Ding Dong were slow to begin. Hurricane Cindy was very slow to begin (5 lengths). Menzies Avenue crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ding Dong and Gitcha Loaded. Menzies Avenue was checked off Inter Joe approaching the first turn. Gitcha Loaded was checked off Ding Dong approaching the first turn.
