Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Saunders the representatiave for May Haze regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. May Haze last raced on 22/07/18. Mr. Saunders stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injured groin, left shoulder and a spider bite.
The outside temperature at race start time was 30.6 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 19.9 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from May Haze.
Squishy Pea and Nash Road Betty were quick to begin. White Fernando and May Haze collided soon after the start. May Haze and Mac collided approaching the first turn. May Haze was checked off Mac on the first turn. Nash Road Betty and White Fernando collided on the first turn.
