Happy Rage was quick to begin.  Modern Jagger and Superior Pal were slow to begin.  Summer Girl and Volcanic Winter collided soon after the start.  One Thrill and Volcanic Winter collided approaching the first turn checking Summer Girl, Volcanic Winter, One Thrill and Superior Pal.  One Thrill and Superior Pal collided several times in the home straight.

Galloping Leo was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bricabrac, Cassius Monelli and Blackpool Nugget and severely checking Dyna Alexia.  Mahi Indian and Lady Mikado collided on the first turn checking Lady Mikado, Assasins Code and Cassius Monelli.  Assasins Code and Dyna Alexia collided on the home turn.  Blackpool Nugget and Cassius Monelli collided on the home turn.  Assasins Code and Dyna Alexia collided approaching the winning post.

Lady Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a lacerated toe on the left hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Trucker was quick to begin.  Destini Trucker and Flo Jo Focus collided soon after the start checking Destini Trucker.  Destini Trucker clipped the heels of Superior Primo approaching the first turn checking Destini Trucker.  Flo Jo Focus and Superior Primo collided on the first turn checking Superior Primo, Karise Fusileer and Destini Trucker and severely checking Flo Jo Focus which contacted the running rail.

Flo Jo Focus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

White Line Lass was a late scratching at 10.15pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured right stifle.   A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Newtown Angel was slow to begin.  Trophy Trophy and Zipping Dion collided soon after the start.  Zipping Dion and Emma Lakers collided on the first turn checking Emma Lakers.  Newtown Angel clipped the heels of Emilio's Jet on the home turn.  Zipping Dion raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.
