Steward's Report
Here's Tiger was a late scratching at 3:29pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to possible acidosis. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bill Heeny.
Bill Heeny was slow to begin.
Porscha's Girl crossed to the rail soon after the start checking She's Got Dash and severely checking Dr. Darkrai. Delta's Magic, Iona Misty and Bill Heeny collided on the first turn checking Delta's Magic. Iona Misty, Bill Heeny and She's Got Dash collided approaching the home turn checking Iona Misty. Delta's Magic and Dr. Darkrai collided on the home turn.
Stewards opened an inquiry with Mr T. Cortese the representative of Here's Tiger regarding the late scratching in this event today. Stewards noted Mr Cortese's explanation. This inquiry remains open and has been referred for further investigation.
