Stewards spoke to Mr I. Newcombe, the trainer of Evie Girl regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Evie Girl last raced on 20 June 2018 and is returning from a seasonal spell. Mr I. Newcombe also declared a new weight of 29.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Evie Girl last raced at 28.1kgs.
