Steward's Report

Turbo Flutter was a late scratching at 6:02pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Go Lucy Go, Santana and Got No Issues were slow to begin.

Kip Moss and Go Lucy Go collided on the first turn checking Go Lucy Go.  Parumba Ned and Got No Issues collided on the first turn checking Got No Issues.  Kip Moss galloped on Emma's Blue Wren in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.  Kip Moss and Emma's Blue Wren collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Crackalakin Caity - winner of the event.

Supplementary Report - Warragul 16/10/18:

Handler, Mr P. Martinovic presented the greyhound Secret Message to be vetted at the conclusion of kennelling after he left Warragul without having the greyhound vetted following the greyhound falling in event 12. Secret Message sustained no apparent injury. After discussions with Mr. Martinovic surrounding the circumstances, Stewards on this occasion issued Mr. Martinovic with a warning for leaving the course without having Secret Message vetted, and without the Stewards permission (GAR 42(2)).
