Dashing Diamond, Ace Ventura, Our Turbo Girl and Golden Blaze were quick to begin. Ace Ventura and Golden Blaze collided soon after the start. Dashing Diamond galloped on Golden Blaze approaching the first turn checking Dashing Diamond and Ace Ventura and Golden Blaze fell as a result. Dashing Diamond and Ace Ventura collided approaching the home turn.
